Today I bring you a super simple recipe to make artificial snow at home. Yes, yes, as you hear it. Your children and/or students will surely love it! 🙂 An ideal activity to do these days of Christmas vacation that are just around the corner.
Making artificial snow is really simple. You only need a couple of ingredients: water and baking soda. Therefore, it is a edible dough made with non-toxic products. But be careful: just because it is edible does not mean that it is recommended to eat. The goal is for children to play with it, not eat it. But if they put a little piece in their mouth, nothing would happen.

Videotutorial:
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, making artificial snow is really simple. Even so, I have prepared a small video so you can see how it is done, as well as the games we have played at home with the snow.
This is the second video of my recently released canal de Youtube. If you like the content, you already know that you can subscribe to receive notifications of upcoming videos. And if you have any proposals for future videos, you can leave me in the comments.
Ingredients:
- 1 measure of agua
- 4 measures of bicarbonate
If your children are no longer in the phase of putting everything in their mouths, you can incorporate a little white glitter. It will give it a shiny touch and an even more royal look.
Activities with artificial snow
2. We incorporate characters
3. Transfers
We offer a second container and a spoon to make transfers, thus working on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
4. We paint the snow
We put within reach a brush and a container with water and a few drops of dye, in this case blue. They love to see how the snow changes color.
Simple and very creative, beautiful idea. If I'm not going to present it to my son, he will surely be delighted. Thanks for the post.
It's great, thank you!!!
