Halloween activities for children

Halloween characters with recycled materials

A creative and sustainable activity that encourages children to reuse materials. With paint, cardboard and a lot of imagination, you can transform toilet paper rolls into fun Halloween characters like Frankenstein, mummies, ghosts, vampires and pumpkins. Ideal for letting creativity fly and filling the classroom or home with colorful handmade decorations!

Skeleton with sticks

In this activity, children can build a skeleton using cotton swabs that simulate bones. Some swabs are cut to create smaller parts, which adds a touch of fun, especially when they fly away! 🤣 Then, they are glued on a black cardboard to provide contrast and highlight the skeleton. It is a simple and entertaining craft that helps children explore their creativity while learning about the human body.

treasure hunt

This sensory activity consists of hide Halloween chocolates in a container full of dyed black rice, creating a mysterious and fun effect. Using the tweezers from the fine motor skills kit, children must look for and pick up the chocolates. An entertaining way to develop coordination and the sense of touch. Important: agree before starting the number of chocolates you can eat. 😉

Ghost and Spider Pizza

This pizza decorated with cheese ghosts and black olive spiders It's delicious. An easy, entertaining and fun activity. At home it is one of the activities that we repeat year after year around this time, it is already part of our Halloween tradition, and we repeat it year after year to enjoy a themed and spooky dinner together. 😊

Photoshoot

Any occasion is good to immortalize moments, don't you think? Look for an element related to Halloween and take the opportunity to make a photo session to your little one. I'm sure you'll appreciate it in a few years!

gel stickers

Playing with the light table and gel stickers, we create lighting effects that fascinate children. The stickers stick easily, allowing you to explore shapes and colors. It is a simple and magical activity that my children love. You can use the gel stickers on both the light table and the windows to give a special Halloween touch. 🎃👻

Cupcakes de momia

These cupcakes de chocolate, decorated like mummies, are as fun to make as they are to eat. Children can use white chocolate to create the “sales” of the mummies, letting your imagination fly in the design. A delicious and creative way to celebrate Halloween with a spooky and sweet twist!

catch the pompoms

In this sensory activity, children must collect pom poms from a container full of dyed black rice, using tweezers to practice fine motor skills. To make it more challenging, we can add a “spider web” that makes access to the pompoms difficult, forcing children to pass the clothespin through the gaps. Although I normally use food coloring to dye the rice, this time I opted for paint, and the result was just as good: once dry, it doesn't stain anything. I recommend it to you! 👍🏼
