Ideas and family activities
It seems incredible that we are about to enter the month of December, but yes! We already have Christmas just around the corner.
In our house we live with great enthusiasm this month because for us it is synonymous with traditions, time together and simple but beautiful activities that allow us to create special memories.
If you ask my son what he likes most about Christmas, he will surely tell you the Advent activities.
I'm not going to lie to you, we also have the typical chocolate bar calendar! But what we do with activities is undoubtedly the most successful.
The idea is that children live the month of December with small special moments. Don't let everything be waiting to receive gifts on December 25th or January 6th.
But I also tell you one thing: if this ends up being another burden because you see that you don't arrive... pass! Or find your own style. Lower expectations and focus on enjoying it, not surviving it. This is what works for us and we approach it in a way flexible and realistic. If one day it is not possible, we talk about it and look for an alternative. The goal is to enjoy it, search new moments of connection and creating memories. But with compassion and calm, doing what we can.
I leave you some ideas of activities that we usually do every year. I hope they help you!
